1. Appliance Overview

• Hostname: pfsense.home.internal
• Management WebGUI: https://10.10.60.1
• DNS Resolver: Unbound (Port 53)
• NTP Service: Active on 10.10.60.1

2. Critical Configuration Backups

pfSense configuration is backed up via XML snapshots:

1. Log into WebGUI: https://10.10.60.1
2. Navigate to: Diagnostics > Backup & Restore
3. Select Backup configuration with:
   • Backup area: ALL
   • Skip packages: Unchecked
4. Save the generated config-pfsense.home.internal-YYYYMMDD.xml archive securely.
